City Goods has begun to take steps to become a 501c3 Non-Profit Organization over the next year to better fulfill our mission to empower and equip local creatives and entrepreneurs. To celebrate this vital next step, we are excited to launch an initial fundraising campaign in partnership with Ohio City, Inc. as our fiscal agent. This next phase will not only allow us to elevate the current foundation but continue to minimize barriers that local businesses face in launching retail spaces, which ultimately continues to enhance the vibrancy of our City. The initial goal is to collect 20K within 7 days (by Wednesday, January 24) to launch with momentum and City Goods can continue to fulfill its current mission.

City Goods cultivates a vibrant space for talented makers, ambitious doers, and passionate dreamers. With people at the forefront, the mission of City Goods is to create an accessible and sustainable space to nurture a small business economy by providing opportunities for business growth, inspiring conscious consumerism, and cultivating opportunities for true human connection.

A snapshot of how City Goods mission came to life in YEAR ONE:

City Goods is the home of 30+ small local retail brands
- 18 are women-owned
- 10 are minority-owned
The small businesses on-site made $726K in sales in the first year (not including supporting local breweries, distilleries, wineries, and market vendors)
The Hangar served 12 local breweries, 6 local wineries, and 17 local distilleries
City Goods hosted 10 pop-up markets called ‘City Market’ from May to September in addition to other events and activations in collaboration with local creatives and organizations, such as Open Mic Night, Dog Yoga, Artist Talks, Album Release Events, Wellness Events, Children’s Programming and more!
